Jackie Larson currently holds a Bachelors of Science in Youth, Family and Community Development which she obtained from the University of Florida and then later, graduated from the nursing program at Santa Fe College. She is a Registered Nurse and worked for 10 years at UF Health at Shands and 3 years for Haven Hospice in the Gainesville community. She’s happily married with two girls and she and her husband run a community engaged business in downtown Gainesville.
Jackie grew up dancing various styles of tap, jazz and ballet, concentrating her later studies on classical ballet under the tutelage of Ann Polajenko at Ballet Florida and later at South Florida Ballet Academy. To further her development she attended a summer intensive with Ad Deum dance company out of Houston, TX and has led multiple Dance Movement workshops in town.
Ms Jackie is thankful to be a part of the iDance team and is excited to have this opportunity to guide and encourage young dancers along their own journeys of self discovery, artistry, passion and purpose.
