Alaina Thomas is currently attending Santa Fe College majoring in dance, with the plan to transfer to the University of Florida a�er earning her AA. She has danced at Independance studio since she was 8 years old. Originally training in jazz, she went on to become a member of the iDance competitive team, attending competitions like LA Dance Magic, Starpower, and StarQuest. She also furthered her training in ballet, contemporary, modern, acro, tap, and lyrical styles of dance. She was awarded with the iDance scholarship in 2015 and received various other awards including the “Found Your Light” award in 2016. Alaina is excited to be among the hardworking staff and dancers at Independence studio!
